Spicy Tomato Salad
Ingredients
| 5 large, wedged | tomatoes |
| 1 medium, sliced | red onion |
| 1 large | long English cucumber |
| 3/4 cup | white vinegar |
| 3 tablespoons | sugar |
| 1/4 cup | water |
| 1 tablespoon | mustard seed |
| 1/4 teaspoon | cayenne pepper |
Directions
Combine tomatoes and onions in a large bowl. In a small saucepan mix vinegar, sugar, water, mustard seed and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil for one minute, poor over tomatoes and onions and toss. Let stand 2 hours in the refrigerator. Mix in cucumber and serve chilled.
